Voting rights is a civil right that is the most essential right in our democracy. Voting rights are the fuel that empowers the engine of a democratic society. It is the way by which an individual citizen has a voice in a complex democratic society. Accordingly, whether it be inadvertent or intentional, Quacy will seek to eradicate voter suppression in all its forms. In recent years we have seen efforts Especially those efforts, such as, restrictions on early voting hours, purging of voter rolls, and limiting polling places in certain areas. These efforts have had a disproportionate effect on certain communities. Quacy believes that the John Lewis Voting Rights Act needs to be revived, revised, refined and passed as federal law immediately.
Election Security:

Because voting is at the core of our democracy, it is vital that we continue to have free and fair elections that are secure.
